In recent hours, news circulated regarding Kuwaiti artist Abdullah Al-Ruwaished experiencing the onset of a stroke on Sunday evening. The Saudi Entertainment Authority Chairman, Turki Al-Sheikh, posted on X platform: "Due to the health conditions of the great artist Abdullah Al-Ruwaished, the farewell concert for the late artist Abdulkarim Abdulqader, scheduled for February 23, 2024, at Mohammed Abdu Arena as part of the Riyadh Season events, will be postponed until further notice. We wish the Gulf music ambassador a speedy recovery."
Kuwaiti media personality Fajr Al-Saeed provided details about Al-Ruwaished's health, clarifying that it was the beginning of a stroke, which was managed by doctors. She stated: "Thank God... I received news confirming that the great artist Abdullah Al-Ruwaished is fine... thank God." She added: "It was the onset of a stroke, and thanks to God and the prayers of his fans, the doctors managed it. He is now in a stable condition. May God keep us from worrying about you, Abu Khalid... take care of yourself; you are a national treasure to us."
Several artists and composers have wished Al-Ruwaished a quick recovery, including composer Nawaf Abdullah, who said: "Wishing you a swift recovery, Abu Khalid... I ask God, the Almighty, the Lord of the Great Throne, to heal you."
