U.S. House of Representatives to Vote on Biden's Impeachment?

A source familiar with Congress revealed that the U.S. House of Representatives plans to vote on Wednesday on a resolution that would allow for further investigation into the potential impeachment of President Joe Biden. The source told the "Novosti" agency that House Democratic minority members will try hard to obstruct the approval of this resolution, which would lead to Biden's impeachment.

Earlier, Republican members of the House discussed the text of a resolution introduced on behalf of Congresswoman Kelly Armstrong, which authorizes continued investigation aimed at impeaching President Biden. The investigations launched by Republicans in the House concern allegations of Biden's involvement in his son Hunter Biden's foreign business ventures, with suspicions tied to the time Biden served as Vice President under Barack Obama. The White House strongly denies such allegations.

Republicans have repeatedly claimed that the Biden family receives funds from companies, including foreign entities, to wield political influence for business interests. House Oversight and Accountability Committee Chairman James Comer stated that the current president "needs to answer questions from Americans," particularly clarifying the terms of financial agreements with his brother and indicating whether he received significant amounts from other relatives who collaborated with companies.
