The Palestinian Ministry of Culture announced the death of Palestinian artist Inas Al-Saqa and her daughters Lin and Sara due to the ongoing Israeli bombardment of the Gaza Strip. The ministry stated in a post on its official Facebook page: "The martyrdom of artist Inas Al-Saqa and her daughters Lin and Sara as a result of the continuous shelling of the Gaza Strip. Islam Qassem, a relative of Al-Saqa, revealed details of the discovery of her death on his personal account on the platform formerly known as Twitter, now "X", stating: "My cousin Inas Al-Saqa and her daughters are martyrs from the Abu Sido family, identified at Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza. All mercy and eternity to the martyrs." He added: "Rita was with her mother Inas and her sisters Lin and Farah, and her brother Ibrahim who were displaced in the Orthodox Cultural Center. After the center was threatened yesterday, they went to the home of the Al-Wahidi family near the Industrial Junction, where the house was targeted with the occupants inside."
