Emirates Cycling Team Takes Fourth Place in Paris-Roubaix

The Emirates Cycling Team concluded the "Cobble Classics" series with an impressive performance as cyclist Niels Pollitt secured the fourth place in the Paris-Roubaix race in France. Pollitt stayed at the forefront of the race alongside Tim Wellens, who was making his debut, and the German rider made a noticeable advance toward the front alongside Stefan Küng from the "Groupama-FDJ" team and Gianni Vermeersch from "Alpecin-Deceuninck" for 80 kilometers. They then lagged slightly before Van der Poel's acceleration, which led to his victory just 60 kilometers before the end of the race.

Commenting on the result, Pollitt stated, "It felt special riding in the race, and when Van der Poel made his move, the Alpecin team lagged a bit, so I found myself among some great riders. I couldn't achieve better than fourth place, but overall, I think our team has reason to be proud of our level during these classic races."

The results were as follows:

- Mathieu Van der Poel (Alpecin-Deceuninck) 5:25:58 hours.

- Jasper Philipsen (Alpecin-Deceuninck) +3 seconds.

- Mads Pedersen (Lidl-Trek) same time.

- Niels Pollitt (Emirates Team) same time.
