Taimur Jumblatt in Ma'arab: "From the Cedars of God to the Cedars of Chouf"

The President of the Lebanese Forces Party, Samir Geagea, and his wife, MP Strida Geagea, welcomed the head of the Progressive Socialist Party, MP Taimur Jumblatt, at their residence in Ma'arab, leading a delegation that included MPs Akram Shehayyeb and Wael Abou Faour, and former MP Ni'mat Tohme. The meeting was also attended by Deputy President of the Lebanese Forces Party, MP George Adwan, and MPs Melhem Riachi and Nzeh Metta. The attendees discussed the latest political developments in the country. The meeting was an opportunity for MP Geagea to gift the head of the "Progressive" party a book titled "Qadisha Valley" in celebration of his assumption of party leadership. An inscription was written for him on the first page, stating: "From the Cedars of God to the Cedars of Chouf, a history of national cooperation and struggle in the service of Lebanon. Best wishes for success and prosperity in your new journey for the sovereignty, diversity, and stability of Lebanon, and to enhance coexistence in the mountain, based on the historical reconciliation of 2001.
