Tinneti: We are Monitoring the Situation on the Blue Line and UNIFIL is Prepared to Deploy

The official spokesperson for UNIFIL, Andrea Tinneti, in response to a question about the measures that UNIFIL will take to deal with demonstrations on the Blue Line, stated, "According to some reports, a number of people have gathered near the Blue Line, but as of this morning, we have not witnessed any large gatherings." He added, "We continue to monitor the situation closely, and UNIFIL peacekeepers are prepared to deploy to ease tensions and maintain stability in the region along the Blue Line."
