Osama Hamdan, a leader in Hamas, indicated that "the occupation has failed to achieve any of its goals in its war on Gaza, and we reiterate that there will be no negotiations regarding the captives of the occupation except after the cessation of aggression." He pointed out that "the Israeli prisoners are left here because Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu wanted this, and I tell their families that you need to decide the fate of your sons. We confirm that the threats of the war trio to eliminate the Al-Qassam Brigades have completely collapsed, and Al-Qassam is more capable in the field than before."
Hamdan believed that "the occupation government is stuck in a war without a horizon, and its army is suffering heavy losses in the field while its officers flee from the battlefield. The United Nations Security Council Resolution 2720 is weak and an insufficient step that does not meet the need." He added, "The American administration has worked to drain the resolution of its true content, and it is the Security Council's duty to deliver aid to all of Gaza while not adhering to the enemy's maps." He appreciated "the efforts of the Arab countries that proposed the resolution and the Russian effort to impose amendments that consider halting the war," calling on "all countries of the world and all international organizations to take a decisive stance towards the crimes of the occupation against the medical sector."
