The Operations Room of the Civil Defense in the Islamic Rescue Scouts issued a statement today, Sunday, revealing the circumstances surrounding the Israeli army's targeting of two vehicles belonging to the Islamic Rescue Scouts in southern Lebanon. The operations room stated: "In the early hours of dawn, while two vehicles belonging to the Civil Defense in the Islamic Rescue Scouts were performing their humanitarian duty to evacuate a number of injured individuals from a house that was targeted by the Israeli occupation forces on the outskirts of Tayyir Harfa in the Tyre district, an Israeli military drone directly targeted the two vehicles, resulting in four paramedics being moderately injured and subsequently transported to hospitals in Tyre for treatment."
It added, "The Islamic Rescue Scouts and its paramedics, who have not been deterred by the crimes targeting their vehicles, crews, and headquarters throughout the years of Israeli occupation and in all its aggressive wars on Lebanon, and what happened in the Mansouri medical team massacre is just an example of this aggression, remain committed to their humanitarian duty. This crime is brought to the attention of the international community, which must act immediately to deter Israel and halt its crimes and violations of international laws, norms, and treaties that prohibit anyone from obstructing the work of paramedics under any circumstances."
