Israeli Shelling in Southern Lebanon and Destruction of a Tank at Biranit Barracks

This evening, the Israeli army targeted the outskirts of Al-Abbad and the area extending to Bir al-Muslabiyat in the towns of Houla, Adaisseh, and Kafr Killa with several shells. The Israeli artillery shelled the Labunah - Naqoura area, where sirens sounded at the UNIFIL headquarters. The shelling also hit the outskirts of the towns of Tayr Harfa and Al-Jabin, while the "Islamic Resistance" targeted the Dhahira site. Additionally, Israeli artillery shelled the outskirts of Kafr Killa, adjacent to the road between Kafr Killa and Adaisseh near the border wall. An Israeli drone attacked the outskirts of the town of Aita al-Chaab.

Reports indicate that an intercepting missile fired by the Iron Dome exploded in the skies over the area between the settlements of Kfar Jaladi and Matula. A correspondent from Al-Manar reported: "An intercepting missile fired by the Iron Dome exploded in the skies over the occupied area between the settlements of Kfar Jaladi and Matula, and the enemy's artillery bombarded the outskirts of Kafr Killa, adjacent to the road between Kafr Killa and Adaisseh near the wall."

The "Islamic Resistance" announced that at 3:30 PM today, they targeted "a mechanized group of special forces from the Israeli occupation army stationed in the Manarah forest with appropriate weapons, causing confirmed casualties." They also reported targeting at 2:40 PM the Al-Asi site with appropriate weapons, achieving direct hits. Furthermore, they stated that "Islamic Resistance fighters targeted at 1:05 PM on Friday, November 17, 2023, a gathering of Israeli occupation soldiers in the settlement of Yir'on (the occupied Lebanese village of Salha) with appropriate weapons, achieving direct hits."

In a related context, the military media of Hezbollah released a video showing "scenes of the Islamic Resistance targeting an Israeli Merkava tank near the Biranit barracks at the Lebanese border."
