The Russian Foreign Ministry reported today, Tuesday, that "Russia has banned 347 citizens from Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia from entering its territory, including ministers, parliament members, and public figures." The ministry's statement said: "A response through retaliatory measures is required due to the hostile policies from the Baltic states towards Russia, the active pressure by Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia to impose sanctions on our country, the interference in Russia's internal affairs, the persecution of Russian-speaking populations, the brutal campaign of mass destruction in Russian territories, as well as attempts to rewrite history and glorify Nazism, in addition to the criminal line pursued by the Baltic states in supplying weapons to the Kyiv regime—all of which necessitate retributive measures against those involved in these heinous acts." The ministry continued: "347 citizens from Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia have been placed on the Russian sanctions list against hostile countries, including ministers, parliament members, public figures, and journalists from the three Baltic states." The ministry also published a list of "the most hostile figures toward Russia," which includes former republic leaders and government members.
