Congress: Ukraine Will Not Repay U.S. Funds

U.S. Congress member Marjorie Taylor Greene expressed confidence that "Ukraine will never be able to repay the American money it may receive as loans from the United States." Greene wrote on her page on the platform "X": "Speaker Johnson is set to give Ukraine $60 billion next week, claiming that part of it is a 'loan' to Ukraine. It is absolutely ridiculous and laughable to try to convince the American people that Ukraine will ever pay us back! Our government funds Ukraine with $1 billion a month just to keep the Ukrainian government running, and we are even paying their pensions! But there are two countries that can repay us: Israel and Taiwan. Why do we give away money for free to defend their countries while 'loaning' money to bankrupt and corrupt Ukraine, and why doesn't our government mediate for peace in Ukraine? The American people are not stupid and are tired of feeding these scams."
