A high-ranking Egyptian source announced the resumption of talks in Cairo with the participation of all delegations involved in the ceasefire negotiations in Gaza. The source stated that "the Egyptian security delegation is intensifying its efforts to find a compromise regarding some disputed points." The Egyptian delegation reiterated its warning to all parties about the dangers of escalation should the negotiations fail, according to Egyptian media. The source explained on Wednesday that the Egyptian security delegation emphasized to all participating parties the seriousness of escalation and the importance of adhering to the negotiation process. Egypt's communications with various parties, especially Israel, the United States, and Hamas, have not ceased, aiming to maintain the current negotiation track and avoid escalation; this effort continues until a ceasefire agreement and halt to hostilities become a reality on the ground. Egypt continues its strenuous efforts to achieve a comprehensive ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and end the ongoing Israeli aggression since October 7.
