Austin: We Have No Knowledge of the Cause of the Iranian Helicopter Crash

U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin remarked on Monday that he "has no knowledge of the cause of the helicopter crash, an incident that claimed the life of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi," adding that he "does not necessarily expect any broader impact on security in the region." In a press talk, he stated, "I cannot speculate on the cause of the crash." Austin also mentioned that "the United States continues to provide evidence to the International Criminal Court concerning war crimes committed in Ukraine, even as Washington condemned the prosecutor's request for arrest warrants against Israeli officials."
