Shabak: We Discovered Iranian Platforms on Social Media Recruiting Israelis

The Israeli Security Agency, "Shabak," announced on Monday the discovery of several platforms on social media that are working to recruit Israelis to carry out missions against the country. Shabak claimed that it has become evident from "suspicions" that these platforms are operated by Iranian security entities, noting that this revelation continues previous disclosures by Shabak about a network recruiting and operating Israeli citizens for missions against Israel.

It was reported that these entities send flower bouquets to the families of the abducted and initiate gatherings alongside them, publish job postings for photographing the homes of security officials, gather information through fake surveys, and spread inciting and politically extremist content in Israel. According to the Israeli channel "i24 News," the platforms disseminate fake surveys that include links intended to collect information about Israelis and recruit them for security missions against Israel, such as photographing the homes of security personnel and officials who frequently appear in the media and make statements against Iran.

Shabak stated in a released message that one of the channels on the "Telegram" platform is named "Bring Home Now." Additionally, Shabak explained that there has been a concerted effort within the groups to disseminate job offers through fake profiles, which a warning has been issued about.
