Temporary Halt to Floating Dock Installation off Gaza Coast

The U.S. Central Command announced today, Friday, that the installation of the floating dock off the Gaza coast has been halted due to weather conditions, noting that "the intensity of winds and wave heights created unsafe conditions for the soldiers working to complete the dock." They added, "The partially constructed floating dock and the military vessels involved in its construction will be moved to Ashdod Port," confirming that "we will continue to complete the construction of the floating dock at Ashdod Port before transferring it to the designated site."
