The Commander of the Army, General Joseph Aoun, visited the Independent Works Regiment in the Haret al-Sitt area – Baabda, where he toured its sections and workshops and was briefed on the executed missions, praising the soldiers' efforts and considering them a model in innovating creative solutions and maintaining hope despite significant challenges. He also visited the project for the construction of administrative buildings belonging to the regiment and the training center for the protection of cultural properties and emergency response.

General Aoun met with the officers and congratulated them on the anniversary of the regiment's founding on March 1, noting that they have proven their competence despite difficult circumstances and achieved significant accomplishments, especially regarding the responsibilities they undertook following the Beirut Port explosion, including assisting victims, clearing roads, protecting cultural and heritage sites, debris removal, and contributing to reinforcing the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants building, in addition to development and environmental missions across various Lebanese regions and enhancing manufacturing capabilities within the regiment.

He addressed them, saying, "You have proven that you are true leaders and initiators, and you have achieved outstanding accomplishments through the Cultural Property Protection Team in the regiment. The institution is proud of you because you raise its name high in Lebanon and abroad."

He indicated that the army enjoys the trust of the Lebanese and friendly nations and receives ongoing and vital assistance for its continuity, and that the leadership continues to exert maximum efforts to support active-duty and retired military personnel, particularly through military healthcare. He concluded by saying, "The army is the rock of Lebanon, and the soldiers in the various units are the rock of the army and its source of strength."
