Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum announced the organization of the Artificial Intelligence Retreat 2024 on June 11, which will involve over 1,000 experts and specialists to discuss local and global challenges and opportunities. He stated via the "X" platform: "We announce the organization of the Artificial Intelligence Retreat 2024 on June 11, which will involve more than 1,000 experts and specialists to discuss local and global challenges and opportunities."
He added: "Through this retreat, participants from various sectors will work on laying the foundation to accelerate the adoption of artificial intelligence across all sectors." He indicated that this event is the first in Dubai's annual plan to expedite the adoption of artificial intelligence applications and usages. "We will witness successive giant steps in this field to serve our limitless ambitions to harness technology for the benefit of humanity and to achieve the best quality of life for Dubai and its people," he stated.
He affirmed that artificial intelligence will change the world for the better, and Dubai does not wait for change; instead, it creates it and accelerates steps to achieve global leadership in artificial intelligence.
