Sánchez indicated that he "spoke with the Emir of Qatar and expressed my appreciation for the mediation efforts to achieve a ceasefire and the release of hostages," emphasizing that "we are committed to efforts aimed at achieving a fair and lasting peace through a two-state solution and mutual recognition."
