The head of the "Lebanese Forces" party, Samir Jaafar, met with the "National Work Group" at the party's headquarters in Ma'arab. The group includes: Father Abdo Abou Kasm, the head of the Catholic Media Center, media figure Dr. Christian Oosi, lawyer Youssef Ammar, Dr. Maroun Sarhal, Dr. Rojer Qarqmaz, retired Brigadier General Robert Jabbour, Joe Khoury, and Raymond Azar, in the presence of former MP Edi Abi al-Lama and the head of the media and communication department in the Lebanese Forces party, Charles Jabbour, along with Mark Saad and Mario Melkon.
After the "National Work Group" explained to Dr. Jaafar the background behind the establishment of this group, its framework, and activities, the discussion shifted to the political reality concerning both the presidency and sovereignty, highlighting the need to elect a president who restores respect for the constitution, and the necessity of implementing this constitution to protect Lebanon and the Lebanese people.
