Reopening of the Ministry of Youth and Sports

Youth and Sports Minister George Kallas announced today, Monday, that the doors of the ministry are reopening to federations, clubs, and citizens at its building located on Sami Solh Street, after confirming its structural safety. Kallas expressed gratitude to the official and trade union entities that were concerned and followed up, and did what was necessary to ensure public safety, including the safety of employees. Kallas specifically thanked Minister of Public Works Ali Hamieh and his team, Secretary General of the Higher Relief Committee Major General Mohamed Khair, Beirut Governor Marwan Abboud and his team, the Beirut Municipality staff, Engineer Syndicate President Fadi Hanna and the engineers of the syndicate and the General Directorate of General Security, and all relevant governmental departments.
