A massive fire broke out on Thursday evening in one of the warehouses of Alexandria Pharmaceuticals and Chemical Industries located in the Al-Awaid area of the first district of Montazah, without any reported injuries.
In detail, the Montazah police department received a report of a fire at one of the factories and companies near the Al-Awaid bridge. Officers from the department and civil defense forces, along with ambulances, arrived at the scene.
It was found that a fire had erupted on the third floor of the packing and packaging warehouse of Alexandria Pharmaceuticals and Chemical Industries, resulting in material losses. The fire caused significant smoke and flames to rise, affecting the entire surrounding area, while civil defense forces continued to work on controlling the fire, extinguishing the flames, and preventing them from spreading to nearby buildings.
