Title: Nabih Berri Sends Condolences to His Moroccan Counterpart

Today, Saturday, the President of the Lebanese Parliament, Nabih Berri, sent a telegram to his Moroccan counterpart, Rachid Talbi Alami, expressing condolences for the earthquake victims. The message stated: "On behalf of the Lebanese people, in my personal capacity and on behalf of the Parliament, we share with you and the friendly Moroccan people feelings of sympathy and support for Morocco—king, government, parliament, and people—in facing the repercussions of the earthquake that has struck several cities in the Kingdom of Morocco. We ask God Almighty for mercy for the victims, swift recovery for the injured, and security, safety, and stability for the Kingdom of Morocco."

Berri also received the new ambassador of Cyprus, Maria Hadjithodosiou, at the second presidential headquarters in Ayn Al-Tineh during a protocol visit, marking her assumption of diplomatic duties as her country's ambassador to Lebanon. The visit was an opportunity to discuss bilateral relations between the two countries. Additionally, President Berri met with the Colombian Ambassador, Edwin Austos Alfonso, in another protocol visit attended by Consul Lina Verala.
