The General Directorate of State Security, Media, Guidance, and Public Relations Department issued the following statement today, Saturday: "After the spread of some news through Lebanese media regarding the General Directorate of State Security's work, tasks, and coordination mechanism with the Lebanese government and its ministries, it is important for the Directorate to clarify that it carries out its tasks and coordinates its relationships with the Lebanese government and security agencies in Lebanon and in friendly and sisterly countries, based on applicable laws."
