Wolverhampton Wins 1-0 Against Sheffield United

Wolverhampton Wanderers climbed to eighth place in the Premier League with a 1-0 victory over bottom-placed Sheffield United on Sunday. Pablo Sarabia's goal in the first half secured the team's third win in four matches. The Spanish international scored nearly half an hour into the match when he seized a cross from Ryan Ait-Nouri while being almost unmarked in the middle of the penalty area. Sarabia headed the ball past United's goalkeeper, Ivo Grbić, to give the hosts the lead.

Sarabia nearly scored his second goal in the 66th minute when João Gomes passed the ball from the right, but his left-footed attempt from outside the box went just past the far post. This marked Wolverhampton's first home victory in the league since December, bringing their total to 38 points from 26 matches, just one point behind Newcastle United, who will host Wolverhampton next Saturday. Sheffield United, with 13 points, will face Arsenal on March 4th.
