Ukrainian Ambassador to NATO Natalia Halibarenko stated that obtaining new "Patriot" systems is a challenging task for Ukrainian diplomats. In an interview with the "Ukrinform" agency, Halibarenko said, "We continue to work at all levels, but we must acknowledge the difficulty of this task." She pointed out that, apart from the United States, NATO countries have a limited number of these systems and must consider their own defense needs, political interests, and even upcoming elections. Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that his country needs two "Patriot" systems to prevent the city of Kharkiv from coming under Russian control.
