Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu left the hospital today, Sunday, after being admitted the previous day due to dehydration, with doctors stating that he is in good health. According to Netanyahu's office, the 73-year-old prime minister was transferred to Shiba Medical Center in Tel Hashomer near his private residence in Caesarea, where he remained under observation overnight. His convoy was seen leaving Shiba as media reports indicated that the doctors had allowed him to leave.
In a video from the hospital yesterday, Netanyahu appeared to be in good condition, stating that he had been vacationing at the Sea of Galilee without taking appropriate measures to protect himself from the heatwave in the area. Shiba Medical Center confirmed on Sunday the initial diagnosis of dehydration, noting that additional medical tests included equipping Netanyahu with a device to monitor his heart rhythm, which showed that his heart is in "full health." The Prime Minister's office announced that the weekly Israeli government meeting, usually held on Sundays, will be postponed to tomorrow, Monday.
