Leaked images of the body of the famous Iraqi figure Um Fahd, whose real name is Ghufran Mahdi Suadi, fully nude, have ignited widespread anger on social media. Activists reported that photos of Um Fahd's corpse are being circulated in private groups on WhatsApp in Iraq, after she was photographed nude in the forensic medicine department. The verified and famous account "Iraqi Minister" on the platform X confirmed the information regarding the leaked images of Um Fahd's corpse, stating: "After the body of the murdered Um Fahd arrived at the hospital, the forensic doctor who examined the body, signed the death certificate, and later took pictures of the victim while she was naked and sent them to his friends to spread the photos."
The account added: "Last night, I received a photo of a tattoo on the victim's chest while she was deceased at the forensic medicine department; now I have received even worse pictures, as the doctor photographed her entire chest." The incident has triggered a wave of anger directed at the Iraqi authorities and the forensic medicine department, with calls for the immediate arrest of the perpetrator of this heinous act and accountability. Um Fahd, known for creating provocative content on social media, died last Friday after being shot by an armed assailant who attacked her in her car while she was preparing to leave in front of her home in the Mizyonah area in central Baghdad, as indicated by surveillance footage.
