In the message, Kim stated, "The death of Raisi is a great loss for Iran," expressing his hope "that the grieving families recover as soon as possible." The agency quoted him saying, "Raisi was a prominent statesman and a close friend," noting that he "made significant contributions to the cause of the Iranian people in protecting their sovereignty, development, national interests, and the achievements of the Islamic Revolution."
