OpenAI, a company specializing in generative artificial intelligence and responsible for the "ChatGPT" tool, has unveiled a new tool called "Sora" that allows users to generate video clips based on the texts they create. The company stated that this tool can produce near-realistic video clips of up to one minute long, as well as clips inspired by still images, and it can add visual content to existing videos.
"Sora can create videos of up to 60 seconds featuring highly detailed scenes, complex camera motion, and multiple characters with vibrant emotions," as shared by OpenAI on February 15, 2024.
OpenAI mentioned that "Sora" can generate a 60-second clip just by writing your request, delivering highly detailed visuals, professional production qualities, and characters filled with emotions that appear lifelike. During the testing of the AI tool, an experiment was conducted using the text: "Beautiful Tokyo covered in snow, coming to life, the camera moves through the busy city street, following many people enjoying the beautiful snowy weather and shopping at nearby stalls. The fantastic cherry blossoms flutter through the wind alongside the snowflakes," resulting in an impressive video.
