Sources from the Quintet committee clarified that the end of May deadline may not lead to the election of a president. The sources told "Al-Jadeed" channel, "Lebanese people must choose between sitting at the negotiation table or not, because after June, countries will be preoccupied with their own issues." They added, "The war in Lebanon has begun, and we do not rule out the possibility of a meeting between Le Drian and Iranian officials."
