A horrific crime has shaken public opinion in Italy, as seven Egyptian teenagers assaulted a 13-year-old girl inside a restroom in a public park. Italian authorities received a report from a minor named Katania, accusing seven Egyptians of raping her in the public restrooms of the "Villa Bellini" central park in the coastal city of Catania, located in eastern Sicily.
The Italian newspaper "La Repubblica" revealed that the girl was on an outing with her 17-year-old friend. She told the newspaper that two individuals grabbed her while others restrained her friend, forcing them into the park's restrooms, where they alternated in brutally raping her. Following the assault, she and her friend alerted passersby about the incident, leading to an immediate call to the police, who arrived at the scene to examine it and review security cameras to identify the perpetrators.
The newspaper reported that the ages of the attackers range from 15 to 19 years old, and they had entered Italy illegally. Additionally, the police were able to apprehend the suspects, and the victim was able to identify two of them, while her friend recognized the other five.
