The Central Bank of Iraq stated in a press release that "Governor Ali Mohsen Al-Alaq met with Governor Ayman bin Mohammed Al-Sayari on the sidelines of the Arab Forum for Anti-Corruption Authorities and Financial Intelligence Units held in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia." During the meeting, both sides affirmed "the significant role played by central banks in addressing economic challenges, ensuring macroeconomic stability, and supporting economic growth." The statement added that "both parties discussed prospects for cooperation in various monetary and banking areas, focusing on the importance of developing banking relations between the two brotherly countries."
