The treasurer of the Electricity Club, Hussein Zahrawi, stated that "Coach Louay Salah said goodbye to the players after the match between Electricity and Zakho, which ended in a loss for Electricity by three goals." He added that "Coach Louay Salah informed the players that he would not continue training the team after experiencing unsatisfactory results in the Iraqi Premier League and bid them farewell." Zahrawi noted that "the administration provided the team with everything they needed to succeed in the Iraqi football league and external competitions." Under Louay Salah's leadership this season, the Electricity team recorded 10 wins, 13 draws, and 14 losses. Following their defeat at the start of the 24th round of the Iraqi Premier League, the Electricity team occupies the 12th position with 27 points.
