Mikati Arrives in Bahrain

Caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati has arrived in Bahrain with a ministerial delegation to participate in the Arab Summit. The Lebanese delegation includes the caretaker ministers: Abdallah Bou Habib (Foreign Affairs and Emigrants), Abbas Halabi (Education and Higher Education), Ziad Makary (Information), and Abbas al-Hajj Hassan (Agriculture). Upon the arrival of the Prime Minister and the Lebanese delegation at Bahrain International Airport, they were received by the representative of the King of Bahrain for Humanitarian Affairs and Youth Affairs, Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the head of the honor delegation Ali Khalid Al-Areifi, the Lebanese Ambassador to the Arab League Ali Halabi, and the Chargé d’Affaires of the Lebanese Embassy in the Kingdom Mirna Khoury. The Prime Minister was formally welcomed upon his arrival before proceeding to his residence.
