The Traffic Management Authority announced in a statement that "to facilitate the completion of citizens' transactions and provide services more efficiently, the working days at the main center in Dekwaneh have been increased." It noted that "starting from March 18, 2024, the authority - at the main center in Dekwaneh - will provide services four days a week instead of three, as follows:
- Monday of each week will be dedicated to processing transactions for owners of used and imported car dealerships.
- The official closing day on Monday, March 25, 2024, will be replaced by Friday, March 22, 2024.
- The official closing day on Monday, April 1, 2024, will be replaced by Friday, April 5, 2024.
Furthermore, the transactions that were previously initiated but not yet completed will continue from noon as follows:
- On Monday, March 18: for new cars and motorcycles whose chassis numbers end in 3/2/1/0.
- On Friday, March 22: for new cars and motorcycles whose chassis numbers end in 6/5/4.
- On Friday, April 5: for new cars and motorcycles whose chassis numbers end in 9/8/7.
As for the other departments (Zahle, Sidon, Nabatieh, and Tripoli), work will continue as before and as follows:
- Tuesdays for cars/driving licenses whose chassis numbers/end sequences are 3/2/1/0.
- Wednesdays for cars/driving licenses whose chassis numbers/end sequences are 6/5/4.
- Thursdays for cars/driving licenses whose chassis numbers/end sequences are 9/8/7.
Moreover, it is noted that the authority will announce the provision of new services in the coming weeks."
