Israel: Thousands of Soldiers Entered Deep into Gaza Strip

Israeli broadcasting authority announced that thousands of soldiers are now present deep within the Gaza Strip. It continued in a statement on Saturday that Israeli forces are located 3 kilometers from Al-Shifa Hospital. The Israeli army, through its spokesperson, declared that its forces are continuing operations in Gaza, targeting militants and directing air and artillery strikes against infrastructure, as claimed.

Daniel Hagari added that Israeli forces have taken control of 11 military sites belonging to Hamas since the beginning of ground operations. The forces also detected and destroyed an underground tunnel located next to a school and observed an armed group moving towards the fighters.

It was clarified that naval forces attacked buildings used by Hamas against the Israeli army operating in northern Gaza, where they bombed weapon and ammunition depots containing special equipment belonging to the naval forces of the group. He also stated that naval forces were able to close the fire circle and attack buildings under the guidance of infantry forces operating inside the Strip, which had identified military targets within several buildings around the Al-Shati refugee camp.

This comes as direct confrontations erupted in the Al-Nasr neighborhood between Palestinian factions and Israeli forces. It was reported that Israeli tanks are stationed in the Al-Nasr neighborhood, and clashes have been ongoing since the night. Meanwhile, Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City, which has been repeatedly shelled by Israeli forces yesterday, was plunged into darkness today due to a complete power outage. Additionally, several casualties and injuries occurred as a result of Israel targeting a house in Nussairat camp in central Gaza.
