At 18:00 on May 4, 2024, rescue units, along with members from nearby land centers of the Civil Defense, retrieved the body of a Syrian teenager from an agricultural water pond in Annadak, Akkar. Other agencies took over the transportation of the body to the hospital after the relevant security authorities arrived and completed the necessary legal procedures.
