Elderly Participation in Turkey's Elections

Elderly citizens in Turkey have actively engaged in the election battle between candidates Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, with scenes at polling stations showing a Turkish citizen carrying his elderly mother on his back to cast her vote in the second round of the presidential elections that started this morning. Despite illness and old age, many Turkish citizens were keen to participate in this round of the presidential elections.
