Sadiq Khan Wins Third Term as Mayor of London

Labour Mayor of London Sadiq Khan won a third term today, Saturday, with a significant lead over his Conservative rival Susan Hall, following the announcement of results from all areas of the capital in the local elections. Khan (53 years old), the son of Pakistani immigrants and the first Muslim mayor of a Western capital, becomes the first London leader to secure three terms since the establishment of the position in 2000.
