King Salman bin Abdulaziz of Saudi Arabia has appointed Faisal bin Saud Al-Majfal as the ambassador of the Kingdom to the Syrian Arab Republic. So who is he? He is a prominent Saudi political and military figure who studied at the College of Political Science and obtained a bachelor's degree. He also earned a Ph.D. in political science from King Saud University. Additionally, he is an officer in the Saudi Armed Forces, having been promoted to the rank of Major General in 2019. Prior to this appointment, he served as the ambassador of Riyadh to Cameroon, where he presented a copy of his credentials to the Minister Delegate Felix Amba Yo, responsible for cooperation with Commonwealth countries, in February.
