The head coach of the Egyptian Football Association, Alaa Nabiel, revealed a significant surprise regarding the deportation of several falsified players by the UAE Football Association. In radio statements, the coach mentioned that there has been forgery in the youth sector for a long time, and last month, 18 players were deported from the UAE after their forgery was discovered.
Alaa Nabiel added that the UAE Football Association discovered cases of forgery among 18 Egyptian players, leading to their immediate deportation and a ban on representing any Emirati team in the future. He indicated that some players had been using falsified birth certificates for 4 to 5 years.
Earlier, Alaa Nabiel responded for the first time to statements made by Ahmed Hossam Mido, the former Zamalek star, who had launched a fierce attack on him after his appointment as head coach of the association despite lacking a coaching license. Alaa Nabiel stated in his radio comments that he does not understand the reason for Mido’s attack, suggesting that there might be personal motives. He speculated that he might not be the intended target of Mido's comments, which could have been aimed at conveying a message to specific individuals. Nabiel added that he did not respond to Mido's remarks at the time, as he was not interested in the discussions surrounding him.
