The Israeli army announced today, Friday, the recovery of the bodies of three hostages who were in the custody of Hamas, from Jabalia in the northern Gaza Strip. The army stated that the three hostages are Hanan Yablonka, Michel Nisenbaum, and Orion Hernandez.
In a statement, it confirmed that the bodies were recovered "through a joint operation by the army and the General Security Service, based on intelligence information indicating that they were killed during the attack on October 7." The Israeli army mentioned that "fierce fighting took place in Jabalia at the beginning of the operation."
The statement added: "Following the identification process conducted by medical personnel at the National Institute of Forensic Medicine and the Israel Police, army representatives notified the families of the deceased."
