Saudi artist Mohammed Abdu reassured his audience about his health following the announcement of his cancer diagnosis as he undergoes chemotherapy sessions in Paris. In a video featuring Saudi poet Saleh Al-Shadi, Abdu stated, "I am fine, thanks to God."
"With my dear friend, Mr. Mohammed Abdu, at his home... a moment for memories. Speaking of love and reminiscences... and celebrating the arrival of his seventh grandson, Abdul Majid, from his daughter Reem. We ask God to grant him health and wellness and to bless him with lasting happiness and a long life," Al-Shadi tweeted.
Weeks prior, emotional audio recordings revealed that the renowned Saudi singer has cancer. The recordings, shared on social media, featured the artist, known as "Artist of the Arabs," comforting Saudi poet Prince Badr bin Abdul Mohsen just a day before the latter's passing. In a voice message to his late friend the night before Abdul Mohsen's death, Mohammed Abdu mentioned he was receiving chemotherapy in Paris.
