The newspaper "An-Nahar" has introduced the first AI model in the world designed to perform presidential tasks in the country. The AI model of the president has been trained using journalistic materials published over 90 years on the pages of "An-Nahar" since the 1930s. Its role is not limited to analyzing historical data provided by "An-Nahar," but it also analyzes current events and formulates answers to various political, legal, and governmental issues. By leveraging this extensive knowledge base, the AI president model possesses an understanding of Lebanon's past, along with an objective perspective on the challenges facing the country today.
The new AI president model was launched during a live broadcast where Naïla Tueni, head of the "An-Nahar" media group, conducted an interview with it and posed questions regarding the current situation in the country and the most suitable ways to move forward in the upcoming phase. The newspaper also transformed its printed version to primarily focus on the visions of the new president model regarding various topics from politics and economy to the environment and the diaspora.
The AI president model will be accessible to everyone and can be reached via the website "OurPresident.ai," where it will answer questions related to Lebanon and its policies. Tueni commented on the campaign, stating: "We Lebanese, especially at 'An-Nahar,' refuse to sit by and allow things to continue as they are in light of this prolonged presidential vacancy. The absence of a president is unacceptable and has negatively impacted the country."
