Teen Accidentally Shoots Himself While Filming Music Video

While trying to film a music video for social media, a 17-year-old rapper in Virginia accidentally shot himself. Rilo Hansho was seen in a video posted to his Instagram story displaying a gun, waving it in front of a scene with a green laser and flashlight. He then held the grip, appeared to disengage the safety, aimed the gun at his head, and after cursing, pulled the trigger. According to local media, the young man was taken to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. Relatives stated that he was the sole child in his family. The young man had 27,000 followers, and his videos on Instagram and TikTok often featured numerous rap songs with themes of violence and anger. On March 24, he posted a TikTok video showing what appeared to be the same gun he shot himself with.
