Hezbollah's Response to the Assassination of Al-Aarouri: This Crime Will Not Go Unpunished

Hezbollah mourned the Deputy Head of the Political Bureau of Hamas, Sheikh Saleh Al-Aarouri, along with several of his companions. The party extended condolences to "our brothers in the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, the valiant fighters of Al-Qassam Brigades, the steadfast people of Gaza, the blessed Jerusalem, the wounded West Bank, and every faction and resistance movement in Palestine. May Allah Almighty crown the journey of this great leader with the highest honors of dignity and he has achieved the martyrdom that he always sought and wished for and worked for with his fellow fighters: Resistance and jihad, victory or martyrdom."

He added, "The criminal enemy, which has failed after ninety days of crimes, killings, and destruction to subdue Gaza, Khan Younis, Jabalia camp, and all the proud towns, camps, and villages, resorts to the policy of assassination and physical liquidation of anyone who has worked, planned, executed, or supported the heroic Al-Aqsa Flood operation and contributed to defending the oppressed Palestinian people. Today's crime is an extension of the crime of assassinating the leader Mr. رضي الموسوي in another arena and a new front of the battle and support, and this heinous crime will only increase the faith of the resistors in Palestine, Lebanon, Yemen, Syria, Iran, and Iraq in their just cause and their commitment and determination to continue the path of resistance and jihad until victory and liberation."

He continued, "We consider the assassination of Sheikh Saleh Al-Aarouri and his martyr companions in the heart of the southern suburbs of Beirut a serious attack on Lebanon, its people, security, sovereignty, and resistance, carrying significant political and security messages and implications and reflecting a dangerous evolution in the course of the war between the enemy and the Axis of Resistance. We in Hezbollah affirm that this crime will never go unanswered and unpunished, and our resistance remains steadfast, dignified, and loyal to the principles and commitments it has made, with its hand on the trigger, and its fighters at the highest levels of readiness and preparation. This day is a pivotal moment with consequences for the days to come, so patience will be beautiful."
