Meanwhile, Energy and Water Minister Joe Sadi expressed on "X": "Every September 14, we renew our faith in Bashir's dream and the Lebanon of 10,452 square kilometers, free, sovereign, and independent."

Sagh
MP Salim Sagh wrote on "X": "Bashir's martyrdom taught me that there is no peace without liberation: yesterday from the Syrian occupation, and today from Iranian dominance. And Christ taught me: 'Blessed are the peacemakers.' We liberate to make peace, and we make peace to keep Lebanon free and sovereign. Then we achieve glory for the heroic martyrs and immortality for Lebanon."

Bassil
In turn, Head of the Free Patriotic Movement, MP Gebran Bassil, stated on his "X" account: "Bashir was martyred because he refused any compromise on Lebanon's 10,452 square kilometers, and this remains our cause as well."
