Early Monday morning, reports emerged indicating that several residents of a building on Kurki Street, Haret Hreik, received calls demanding they evacuate the premises. This was coupled with gunfire in the street and a call to vacate surrounding buildings.
According to sources, multiple individuals in the building received the same calls, prompting the evacuation of the building and adjacent structures.
Later, it was revealed that the calls were a hoax, described as a "prank."
The Mechanism Committee informed the Lebanese Army Command that the Israeli army did not issue any warnings in the southern suburb, and there was no connection to the Haret Hreik calls.
