The German club Bayern Munich has decided to sign Belgian coach and former player Vincent Kompany to lead the team starting next season. Transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano announced that "the deal for Kompany to Bayern Munich is fully completed."
Romano stated: "Bayern Munich has signed a three-year contract with Kompany and paid €12 million to Burnley for releasing their coach." The choice of Bayern Munich has raised eyebrows significantly, primarily due to Kompany's lack of experience and secondly because of his failure with Burnley, which was relegated from the Premier League this season.
