The End of "Saif" Appeals to the Audience of "The Betrayer"

The End of

"Asil," "Saif," "Tia," and other characters captivated the audience, who followed them for 90 episodes of the series "The Betrayer," which concluded two days ago with an eagerly awaited episode. As soon as the episode was released on the Shahid platform, viewers took to social media to share their opinions on the events and express their sadness over the end of a series that accompanied them for over four months. Some even wished they could forget the show and watch it again.

The audience on platform X was divided; some were happy with its conclusion, while opinions about the events were conflicting. A portion of the audience summarized the ending as fair, especially since Saif was the biggest loser due to his betrayal of his wife in the first episode, expressing their view with the phrase "the guilty suffer first." On the other hand, some were unhappy with his broken and lost ending, believing it was unfair.

Asil's plans and intelligence mesmerized viewers throughout, but some felt she overdid her revenge on her child's father after many years, encapsulating everything that happened with the phrase “never forgive, never forget.” The series is adapted from the British "Doctor Fister," which has had numerous adaptations, including the Turkish version titled "Sadaktsiz" and the Korean "The World of the Married." From the first scene where the betrayal was revealed at the dinner table, the audience was eager to see from which version the ending would be adapted. The losses experienced by Saif and Asil's agreement with Tia will likely take viewers back in a flashback to the ending of the Turkish version, where Volkan went through a similar experience, with the slight difference that events in the Turkish version end years later with Volkan's death.
